President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his stance that the Free Senior High School program will not be discontinued.
Instead, his administration will enhance the program, he stated.
Delivering the State of the Nation Address (SONA) in parliament on Thursday, February 27, he said the way and manner the programme was implemented left much to be desired.
“I John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, will not cancel the free SHS programme,” he said.
Mr. Mahama had previously promised not to cancel the program during the 2024 election campaign.
