Former member of the National Sports Authority, Isaac Tetteh, has tipped South Africa’s national team, Bafana Bafana, as the hot favourites to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Mr. Tetteh, who is also the CEO of TT Brothers Limited, praised the team’s overall performance and technical discipline, stating that the side, led by head coach Hugo Broos, has been exceptional in all departments and is well-positioned to lift the AFCON trophy.
Speaking to Metro TV following South Africa’s 2–1 victory over Angola in their opening match of the tournament, Mr. Tetteh noted that Bafana Bafana have been technically well-drilled and are playing with a strong winning mentality.
According to him, the team’s tactical organisation, confidence, and ability to grind out results demonstrate their readiness to compete at the highest level and potentially emerge as champions of the 2025 AFCON.
