The Office of the Special Prosecutor has invited an NDC MP aspirant for the Ejura Sekyedumase Constituency over her actions during the recently-held NDC presidential and parliamentary primaries which it suspects to be a corruption-related crime.

In a viral video available to Metro TV, Madam Juliana Kinang-Wassan is seen throwing money at a crowd at the Ahmadiya School Park on election day while voting was ongoing.

Madam Juliana Kinang-Wassan standing in her car poured cash on supposed delegates in plain view of security officers and the media.

The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng in a letter to the NDC MP aspirant said investigations into her actions have commenced.

“The OSP considers you as a person necessary for investigation. You are directed to attend the Office of the Special Prosecutor at 6 Haile Selassie Avenue, South Ridge, Accra on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10 am for interviewing,” he said.

“You may be accompanied by counsel of your choice.”

Also, MP aspirants who gave various items to the delegates at the voting grounds have been invited.
