Stonebwoy has revealed how a random encounter in Nigeria led to him being gifted a brand‑new Toyota Land Cruiser V8 by a Lebanese businessman, after he shared the story of selling his own cars to fund a concert.
Speaking in an interview with Kafui Dey, the Ghanaian dancehall star explained that the incident happened during a visit to Nigeria, when he stepped out of his hotel room to relax and met a Lebanese businessman named Rai.
What started as a casual chat, he said, soon grew into a longer conversation that drew in several people, turning into something like an impromptu business gathering.
Stonebwoy disclosed that he had once sold two of his vehicles including his beloved V8 and a Range Rover to raise money for a show.
He said the businessman was touched by the story and later contacted him, inviting him to come and pick up a car.
To his shock, he was handed the keys to a brand‑new Land Cruiser V8, free of charge.“I have never met him before in my life. Under 72 hours,” he recalled, expressing both surprise and deep gratitude for the unexpected gift.
Stonebwoy said it was the first time anyone had ever given him a car, and that the moment felt emotional and spiritual.
He added that the experience strengthened his belief that help and opportunities can come from the most unexpected sources.
