Tamale South constituents benefit from Free health screening ahead of Haruna Iddrisu’s campaign launch

Hundreds of residents in the Tamale South constituency are benefiting from a free health screening exercise organized by the Lodina Mahama Health Rescue Team, ahead of Haruna Iddrisu’s campaign launch.

The two-day exercise, which aims to screen over 2,000 people, offers medical services for various conditions, including eye problems, Hepatitis B, diabetes, blood pressure, cancer, and other complex conditions.

“We are doing this to improve the well-being of our constituents,” said Dr. Aisha Gomda, constituency executive member of the NDC told Metro TV in an interview.

Roda Argon, Coordinator of the Lodina Mahama Health Rescue Team, emphasized that the exercise is open to all Ghanaians, regardless of their background.

“We don’t discriminate; we are here to serve everyone,” Roda Argon said.

Beneficiaries have expressed gratitude to Haruna Iddrisu, the former minority leader, and the NDC party for bringing healthcare services to their doorstep.

The exercise is expected to cover residents in the Tamale area and beyond.
