TDC Ghana Ltd has issued a strong clarification to correct what it describes as misleading reports surrounding an ongoing land dispute involving TDC Ghana Limited, Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited, and members of the Nii Tetteh Santeo family.
The company explained that the case currently in the High Court (Land Division) in Accra (Suit No. LD/0059/2015) relates specifically to a 361-acre parcel of land occupied by Trasacco Estates, and not the entire Community 23 as has been suggested in some media reports.

According to TDC Ghana Ltd, the clarification follows public misunderstanding arising from recent court commentary involving the Lands Commission and other parties.
The company further emphasized that it continues to hold a valid and existing judgment in its favour in a separate case, Nii Blabi Din Borketey Nkpa v. TDC (Suit No. FAL/186/12), delivered on November 8, 2016. That ruling, it noted, confirmed that the whole of Communities 23 and 24 form part of the Tema Acquisition Area under the management and control of TDC Ghana Ltd, and remains legally valid as it has not been overturned by any superior court.
TDC Ghana Ltd stressed that the earlier judgment continues to reinforce its lawful authority over the Tema Acquisition Area, including Community 23 and 24, and remains a key reference in its land administration mandate.
The company also disclosed that it has filed a Notice of Appeal against the recent High Court ruling and is pursuing all available legal channels to ensure what it describes as a fair and lawful determination of the matter.
While declining to go into the full merits of the pending appeal, TDC Ghana Ltd urged the public to disregard what it called misinformation and speculation regarding ownership claims beyond the specific 361-acre portion currently under litigation.
Management assured stakeholders that it remains committed to protecting lands under its jurisdiction while acting strictly within the laws of Ghana.
It further advised the public and prospective land buyers to exercise caution and conduct proper due diligence before engaging in any land transactions within the affected enclave.
