An IT Governance and Cyber Security Consultant, CK Bruce, has called on Ghana’s agriculture sector to adopt more technology-driven solutions to increase productivity and improve food security.
Speaking on Metro TV’s Titans and Trailblazers with Professor Robert Hinson on Friday, September 12, Mr. Bruce said technology has a lot to offer to farmers who are looking to improve output and reduce waste.
“In agriculture, I think there is a lot it [technology] can enhance how well… For instance, I know of a solution that can identify the soil for the right kind of crop to be planted,” he said.

He explained that such solutions help farmers make informed decisions on what to grow, improving harvests and income levels.
“So, we need to be using technology far so to achieve more,” he added.
Mr. Bruce, who is also an IT Auditor, Project Manager, Trainer and Mentor, believes that the adoption of such innovations will transform agriculture and help secure the country’s food systems.
