The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Accra West Region, wishes to inform its cherished customers and the general public that the power outage currently being experienced in some communities is due to a fault on a transformer located at Shiabu.
The affected areas include Shiabu Mosque, Karikari, Olydade, and surrounding communities.
ECG engineers are working to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs to restore power supply as quickly as possible. Customers in the affected areas are kindly advised to remain patient while the fault is being resolved.
ECG regrets the inconvenience caused and assures customers of its commitment to providing reliable and improved electricity supply at all times.
