A 28-year-old tricycle rider at Nsawam has been killed in what police believe was a targeted attack after he was lured with a call for his service.
The victim, identified as Jacob Agbesinu, was reportedly contacted by an unknown caller who requested his help to transport bamboo sticks to a construction site. That was the last time he was seen alive.
His body was later found with his hands and legs tied and his mouth sealed with super glue. Foam was said to be oozing from his nostrils. His tricycle had also been stolen.
Residents have been left shaken by the brutal killing, describing it as yet another worrying sign of rising insecurity.
Police have begun investigations into the incident.
