The team was scheduled to play a friendly match against DC United on Saturday, October 12 as part of the Ghana Week DC 2024 festivities. However, they had to withdraw from the match due to visa issues.
Instead, a new team named the “Ghana Week DC Select Side” will play against DC United. This team includes 7 players from Asante Kotoko, 2 from Attram De Visser FC, and other top Ghanaian players based in America.
