Two suspected thieves lynched at Dasum

Two unidentified men suspected to have stolen a motorbike have been lynched at Dasum in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Their charred remains were found at the centre of the community on Thursday, August 29.

According to the unit committee chairman for the area, Arthur Isaac Egyir Junior, lifeless and charred bodies of the suspected thieves were discovered at the forecourt of the community’s durbar grounds on Thursday morning.

It has been discovered that the suspects were stoned and clubbed before setting them ablaze, per the items that were found at the scene as part of the preliminary stage of investigations.

Metro TV reached out to the Ghana Police Service for comment.
