The Ghana Police Service says it has foiled an attempted robbery at a GCB Bank branch at Labone in Accra, with two suspects killed and another arrested.
The incident happened on Thursday, 13th August 2026, when police intervened to stop the suspected robbery at the bank.
According to the police, two of the suspects were shot during the operation, while a third suspect was arrested.
The circumstances surrounding the incident, including what led to the confrontation and whether any money or property was taken from the bank, have not yet been disclosed.
