Two young Ghanaian diplomats selected for 2025 UN Conference

Ghana is set to make its mark on the global stage at the 2025 UN Conference in New York, thanks to two exceptional young diplomats.

Obrempong Sakyi Baffoe from SOS-Hermann Gmeiner School and Nana Ama Sakyi Baffoe from Dodi International School have been selected to represent Life Link Friendship Schools and Ghana at this prestigious event.

These talented students showcased their impressive diplomatic skills on Metro TV’s News Beat, confidently tackling complex topics such as child labor, climate change, and conflict resolution.

Their standout performance at Life Link Friendship Schools’ 23rd annual Model United Nations (MUN) summit earned them this coveted opportunity.

The MUN summit, held on United Nations Day, October 24, 2024, brought together students to simulate the UN experience, discussing pressing global issues and representing different countries.

With nearly 5,000 students participating since its inception in Ghana, the conference has nurtured compassionate leaders who excel in corporate and academic fields.

At the UN Conference in New York, Obrempong and Nana Ama will join a delegation to showcase their skills and dedication.
