About fourteen construction workers have been rescued in critical condition after a building collapsed at the premises of Architectural Engineering Group at Roman Ridge in Accra.
The Ghana National Fire Service confirmed the incident in a statement on its Facebook page, saying rescue teams from its headquarters were working to save those trapped under the debris. The injured workers were taken to the 37 Military Hospital and Ridge Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Emergency teams remain at the scene as efforts continue to locate any remaining victims.
