UPSA enforces strict dress code as new semester begins

The University of Professional Studies, Accra has reminded students to strictly comply with its dress code as the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year begins.

In a notice issued by the Director of Academic Affairs, Mr. Anthony Afeadie, on behalf of the Registrar, the university stressed that all students are expected to dress in line with the guidelines set out in the Undergraduate Students’ Handbook.

A key part of the directive requires every student entering campus on Mondays to appear in professional or official attire. University authorities say the measure is aimed at instilling discipline and preparing students for the professional world.

The statement cautioned that any student who fails to comply with the dress code will face sanctions.

The reminder has been copied to the Vice Chancellor, the Pro Vice Chancellor, the Registrar, the Director of Public Affairs, all deans and directors, heads of departments, and the head of security.
