Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has been enskood as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I by the chiefs and people of Komenda Traditional Area during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival.
In a colourful ceremony marked by traditional drumming and dance, the Vice President was welcomed into the fold as a respected leader and development partner.
The stool name Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I symbolizes honour and recognition for Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s outstanding contributions to education, national development, and her commitment to leadership and service.
The chiefs commended the Vice President for her dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
They also expressed hope that her enskoodment would strengthen the relationship between the state and traditional authorities.
The festival served as a platform for the people of Komenda to celebrate their rich cultural heritage.
