Ghana’s rising football star, Kamaldeen Sulemana, has made history as the first-ever inductee into Serie A’s new Goal of the Month Hall of Fame, clinching the prestigious award for the August–September edition with a goal that fans will remember for years to come.
Affectionately known as “Deenho”, the Atalanta winger produced a moment of pure brilliance in Turin — a thunderbolt strike against Juventus that sent shockwaves through the league and earned him widespread praise from fans and pundits alike.
The goal was a display of sheer artistry and confidence. Picking up the ball on the left flank, Sulemana surged forward with trademark pace, cut inside, and unleashed a curling effort from distance that screamed into the top corner, leaving the Juventus goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
What followed was pure theatre — his signature acrobatic celebration, a series of flips that matched the flair of his finish and sent Atalanta supporters into raptures.
Sulemana’s spectacular strike earned him a landslide victory in fan voting, dominating Group A and collecting more than two-thirds of the total votes in the final round against teammate Nicola Zalewski.
Other contenders, including Gianluca Scamacca and Simone Panada, also received honourable mentions for their fine efforts against Pisa and Giana Erminio, but it was the Ghanaian’s wonder goal that stole the spotlight.
Kamaldeen Sulemana’s latest feat not only cements his reputation as one of Serie A’s most electrifying young talents but also marks another proud moment for Ghanaian football on the global stage.
