Former National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has attacked former President John Dramani Mahama, claiming he is unqualified to lead Ghana once more.
He claimed that the former President left the economy in ruins while in office.
Solomon Nkansah asserted that even if given another chance to lead the country, the former President would be unable to change the situation.
“People will always sojourn out of this country, when people go, they will come back. If he’s making that as a basis to show that he has the capacity to reverse it, nothing in his records shows that he can. There’s no proof to substantiate what he’s saying,”Solomon Nkansah told Kwaku Owusu Adjei(Patoo) on Adwenekasa on Accra-based Original FM 91.9.
”The figures demonstrate that he is not capable of running this economy as he claims to be. When he had the chance to be President, he did not increase the economy by even a small amount. He is not allowed to discuss either the economy or the exodus from this country. He has requested to return, and we must inform him that we have expelled him and that his performance disqualifies him.”
“He [Mahama] has never managed an economy in a difficult time before. What was the situation under his government?” he asked.
