Vote for my husband to address economic challenges – Samira Bawumia to Ghanaians

Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has emphasized the need for innovative leadership to propel the country’s development.

Speaking at the Eastern Regional Women’s Wing Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Akwatia, she championed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the ideal candidate to succeed President Nana Addo’s government.

According to Samira Bawumia, Dr. Bawumia’s excellent policies and innovative ideas make him the only candidate capable of addressing challenges across all sectors of the economy.

She urged NPP women to join forces to ensure the party’s victory in the 2024 elections, highlighting the importance of women’s participation in breaking the eight-year cycle of alternating political power.

The conference, themed “Repositioning women for maximum impact in breaking the eight,” brought together over 2,000 women from the region, national and regional executives, and party sympathizers. National Women Organizer Kate Gyamfua and Eastern Regional Women Organizer Mercy Amo Darko also rallied the women to actively work for the NPP’s success.

The event served as a call to action, emphasizing the crucial role women play in shaping Ghana’s future. With the 2024 elections approaching, the NPP women’s wing is poised to mobilize support for Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and the party’s continued governance.
