A member of the NPP’s Communications Team, Awal Mohammed has defended the health infrastructure record of the previous government, insisting it delivered more completed hospitals than any administration in Ghana’s history.
During a discussion on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana show hosted by Moro Awudu, he said, “We completed 29 Agenda 111 hospitals in our eight years tenure.”
He listed several facilities he said were completed across the country, including hospitals in Sefwi-Akontombra, Bogoso, Sege and Suame.
“There is no single government in the history of this country that has completed hospitals than the Nana Akufo-Addo’s government,” he added.
He further rejected claims that the opposition had no hospital legacy, insisting multiple facilities were inherited and completed.
