The National Petroleum Authority has marked 20 years of regulating Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector with a gala night that blended reflection, recognition and celebration.
The anniversary event, held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, brought together management, staff, retirees and industry partners to reflect on the Authority’s journey over the past two decades and to look ahead to future opportunities for growth and improvement.
The night came alive with energetic performances from musicians Wendy Shay and Olive the Boy, drawing senior officials including NPA Chief Executive Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, Deputy Chief Executive Dr. Dramani Bukari, directors and heads of department onto the dance floor.
Adding colour and humour to the evening was a lively MC trio made up of Giovani, Naa Atswei and Maureen, who kept guests engaged throughout the programme.
Long-serving members of staff were honoured for their dedication and contribution to the Authority’s work, while retirees and industry partners joined in the celebrations to make the milestone event memorable.
The gala also doubled as the NPA’s end-of-year staff party, closing the anniversary celebrations on a high note and reinforcing a shared sense of pride in the institution’s past and confidence in its future.
