Willie Graham Appointed Communications Director at Medeama SC

Medeama SC has announced the appointment of Benjamin Willie Graham as the club’s new Communications Director, marking a significant step forward for the Ghana Premier League giants.

As the Tarkwa-based club continues to dominate the 2025/26 season, currently sitting at the top of the league table, Graham’s vast experience in sports journalism and media management is set to boost the club’s communications strategy and overall visibility.

Graham, a seasoned sports journalist and broadcast expert, brings over a decade of experience in both radio and television, having anchored numerous flagship sports programs. His portfolio includes work with prestigious global broadcasters like SuperSport, StarTimes, Fox Sports Africa, ESPN, and Lagardère, where he provided expert commentary for high-profile international tournaments organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA.

With a deep understanding of the sports industry, Graham also holds a Master’s degree in Media Management from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Sports Business Management and Policy at Manchester Metropolitan University. His academic focus on fan engagement, governance, and sustainable sports development in Africa aligns perfectly with Medeama SC’s future objectives.

In addition to his impressive broadcasting career, Graham has held prominent roles in sports marketing, including his time as Marketing Manager at the Ghana Football Association. He is also the founder and manager of Spark Golden Media Consult, a Ghana-based media and sports marketing consultancy firm that provides specialized services to sports organizations.

Medeama SC’s President, James Appiah, expressed excitement about the appointment: “We are delighted to have someone of Benjamin Willie Graham’s caliber join the Medeama SC family. His expertise in media and sports communication will be invaluable as we aim for another Ghana Premier League title and continue to raise the profile of the club both locally and internationally.”
