World Amputee Football Federation writes to dismiss ‘treacherous’ Ghanaian group

The World Amputee Football Governing Body has written to the treacherous group leading the Ghana Amputee Football Federation to desist from causing more harm to the development of Amputee Football in Ghana.

The treacherous group has halted the highly rated sport due to unnecessary and wicked deception, which eventually saw Ghana lose out on the two World Cup Appearances.

In a letter addressed to the ‘Treacherous Group’, the WAFF stated emphatically it had accepted the Ghana National Paralympic Committee as an official WAFF member in Ghana. The letter also said it had received all documents and payment of the membership fee, including a statement from the Ghana Sports Ministry acknowledging the NPC Ghana as the governing body of amputee football in Ghana.

The World Amputee Football Federation also entreated the ‘Treacherous Group’ to accept the decision taken by the governing body for the benefit of the players, adding that any further information from the WAFF will be sent to the Ghana Paralympic Committee and its representative officials as indicated by Mr. Samson Deen, President of the NPC Ghana.
