World Cup 2022: Black Stars players, technical team sign code of conduct

The 26-man Black Stars players, technical team, management, and other members of the Ghanaian delegation have signed a code of conduct ahead.

The delegation signed the code of conduct upon their arrival at the team’s training camp in Abu Dhabi, where they beat Switzerland 2-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly on Thursday.

The Code of Conduct outlines the norms, rules, duties, and responsibilities or proper practices of an individual in the team as well as the teams.

They are expected to be ethically upright, respectful, and honest, to have a high level of Integrity, and to uphold the good name of the Black Stars, Ghana Football Association, and the West African country during their stay in Qatar for the global tournament.

The GFA encourages the players and all other national team members to adhere to these values during their time with the national team, particularly when in Doha, Qatar for the FIFA World Cup, which begins on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

The Black Stars are in Group H with Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea.

Ghana will play Portugal on November 24th at Stadium 974.

On November 28th, the Black Stars will take on South Korea at the Education City Stadium.

They will play their final group match with Uruguay on December 2nd at the Al Janoub Stadium.
