Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo on Monday named his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 26-man squad was in consultation with the rest of the technical team,
Goalkeepers Joseph Wollacott and Richard Ofori were left out due to injury.
Asante Kotoko’s safest pair of hands Ibrahim Danlad made it to the list.
Legendary Black Stars player, Asamoah Gyan, who was hoping for a Black Stars return was, unfortunately, not called.

Ghana will start its World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24. Four days later, the Black stars will face South Korea. In December 2, team Ghana will play their final group stage against Uruguay.
This is will be the fourth World Cup appearance for Ghana after qualifying for the first time in 2006. The four-time African champions failed to qualify during the last edition in Russia.
