The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced that it has successfully secured nearly 3,200 job vacancies from private companies for Ghanaian youth seeking employment.
In a post shared on social media, the Acting CEO of YEA, Malik Basintale, emphasized that all job placements facilitated through the YEA Job Center are completely free of charge and urged applicants not to pay any fees for recruitment.
“No amount of money is to be charged before a job is given out. It is absolutely free of charge! Just apply, meet the recruitment criteria, and we shall congratulate you,” excerpts of his post read.
The YEA also appealed to private companies and businesses to collaborate with the agency in creating more job opportunities for young Ghanaians.
The announcement has been met with optimism, as many young job seekers continue to struggle with unemployment.
The YEA Job Center is expected to play a key role in bridging the employment gap by connecting job seekers with private sector employers.
The agency has assured applicants that the recruitment process will be transparent and based solely on merit.
Interested job seekers are encouraged to visit the YEA Job Center platform to apply for available positions.
