The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced the upcoming launch of the Graduates in Corporate Support (GRICS) Programme.
In a Facebook post, the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Malik Basintale, noted that the initiative will address the growing challenge of graduate unemployment in Ghana.
“The Youth Employment Agency is introducing the Graduates in Corporate Support (GRICS) programme. With GRICS, young UNEMPLOYED graduates will be deployed and attached to corporate firms and industries nationwide to support the 24-hour system.” Basintale stated
The initiative, also forms part of the broader 24-hour economic agenda, aimed at increasing productivity and creating inclusive employment opportunities.
The Agency is calling on the public, especially private sector players, to support and embrace the GRICS initiative as a shared effort to build a resilient and inclusive economy.
