A violent clash between supporters of the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party has left two people injured, including a media professional, at a voting transfer center in Yendi.

The confrontation erupted on Tuesday, June 5, when a group allegedly bused in from Tamale attempted to transfer their votes, prompting NDC agents to challenge their legitimacy.

The situation escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in a media professional, identified as the manager of Sakara Radio in Yendi, sustaining a razor blade cut on his neck.
