President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has launched a scathing attack on his former friend, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, criticizing his economic management and legacy.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Cudjoe expressed his disappointment and anger with the President, citing various instances of alleged corruption, mismanagement, and poor decision-making.
He specifically mentioned the Free SHS program, illegal mining, procurement scams, and the Aker oil deal as examples of the President’s “grave sins”.
Cudjoe also accused the President of supervising the “most fiscally reckless economy since independence” and leaving Ghana with a huge debt burden.
He further criticized the President’s controversial National Cathedral project, calling it a “hole waiting for God’s possible fresh anointing”.
Despite their past friendship, Cudjoe stated that he will continue to criticize the President’s actions, urging him to apologize for his mistakes in his memoir.
His post was a response to queries from friends in government who had been wondering how his once-warm relationship with the President had turned sour.
