Youth Arise Organization to celebrate 10th anniversary of Community Hope and Charity campaign at Graceland Needy Child Shelter

Youth Arise Organization (YAO) is marking a decade of transformative impact through its Community Hope and Charity Campaign (CHCC) with a special event at the Graceland Needy Child Shelter Home in Bawjiase on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Youth Arise Organization is a body of passionate young professionals committed to the principles of mentoring, education, and policy-oriented networking, empowering the next generation to embrace selfless, effective, and dedicated leadership.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the organization will support the Graceland Needy Child Shelter Home by contributing to the construction of much-needed washroom and ancillary facilities, and providing essential food items and supplies. This initiative aims to improve the children’s living conditions and ensure they receive proper care and nourishment.

“We believe in the transformative power of volunteering and giving back,” said Mr. Moses Baffour Awuah, the Global CEO of the organization. “Our ambassadors have consistently demonstrated how compassion creates lasting positive change in vulnerable communities.”

Youth Arise Organization aligns its community engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically:

  1. SDG 4 (Quality Education): Through its Educational Module
  2. SDG 3 (Good Health): Through its Health Module
  3. SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation): Through its Sanitation Module
  4. SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): Through its Charity Module the CHCC fosters meaningful connections between volunteers and marginalized individuals, including children without families. These efforts remind the children that they are valued and deserving of care.

Previous CHCC initiatives have yielded significant results. For example, a vocational training program in Aburi Tutu empowered single mothers with pastry-making, beverage production, and marketing skills, enabling them to improve their economic circumstances and provide for their families.

Youth Arise Organization urges individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to support this cause. Financial and material contributions will directly enhance the lives of vulnerable children, providing them with dignity, comfort, and hope for a brighter future.
