Water crisis hits Agona Swedru and its environs

Residents of Agona Swedru and its environs in the Central Region have been experiencing a severe water shortage for over a month, causing difficulties for households and businesses.

According to residents, they have been forced to travel long distances to fetch water, which is affecting their daily lives and activities.

Hotel workers in the area have also expressed concern about the impact of the water shortage on their businesses in an interview with Original TV, saying it is causing them to collapse.

They appealed to the Ghana Water Company and the government to intervene and solve the problem, as they are forced to pay private individuals to provide them with water in addition to paying their water bills.

The residents and hotel workers are calling on the authorities to fix the water crisis to alleviate their suffering and prevent any further disruptions to their lives and businesses.
