Budget Review: How Metro TV’s Kenneth Gyasi’s three predictions about happenings in Parliament played out

Ahead of the Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament on Monday, July 31, 2023, dressed in a black suit and a perfect tie to match, News Anchor with the Ignite Media Group-owned Metro TV, Kenneth Gyasi predicted three sureties to happen.

Like the prophets in the Biblical days, the baritone-voiced lad was emphatic about those things that will definitively happen in Parliament and nothing will change it.

Hosting the North Ridge-based media house’s coverage of the 2023 Budget Review, Ken Gyasi stated that the Minister of Finance Ken Ofori Atta will appear in Parliament late than the given time which was scheduled for 10 am.

Also, the Yale-trained economist will quote some biblical verses to back his Mid-Year Budget Review speech on the floor of Parliament.

Moreso, the Minority in Parliament will hold a press conference after Mr. Ofori-Atta’s presentation.

As predicted!

The budget statement review began shortly after midday which resulted in a back and forth with analysts linking the 2023 to the 2018 Budget Review which started at 3 pm instead of 12 noon.

As though that was not enough.

When Ken Ofori Atta started reading the Mid-Year Budget Review he made reference to the biblical verse of Psalm 118:23 which states that “The lords doing is marvelous in our sight.”

This had the second prediction come to play.

Finally!

The Minority caucus of Parliament held a press conference to address the 2023 Mid-Year Budget Review presented by Ken Ofori-Atta

They nicknamed the budget “Deepen Of Woes”.
