Cape Coast Teaching Hospital halts haemodialysis services temporarily

The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has temporarily suspended its haemodialysis services due to quality issues experienced during regular operations last week.

In a statement available to Metro TV, the hospital acknowledged the critical need for this service in its catchment area and recognized the challenges the suspension poses to clients and the general public.

The hospital expressed sincere regret over the inconvenience caused and emphasized that the suspension is necessary to ensure the continuous quality of care and protect the lives of clients.

Management has initiated corrective measures to resume services as quickly as possible, potentially before the end of next week.
