Court Fines Prophet GHC50,000, Sheep & Whiskey For Impregnating Married Woman

Founder of Through Lamp Worship Centre, Prophet Isaac Kofi Agyir has been convicted by the Awutu Breku District Court for impregnating a married woman.

The court presided by Her Worship, Naomi Kuntor after convicting the Man of God, fined him to the tune of GHC 50,000.

The court further affirmed the ruling by the Adontenhene of the Awutu Traditional Council who had earlier sat on the case and charged the Prophet to bring a carton of whiskey and a sheep to appease the man whose wife he impregnated.

Prophet Isaac Kofi Agyir of ‘Through Lamp Worship Centre’ in Gomoa Buduburam when arraigned before the court pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him but insisted the woman is his wife too.

“I noticed the strange chemistry between my wife and the pastor and I questioned her about it. I also learnt that the pastor is my wife’s ex-boyfriend. I confronted my wife’s parents, and they told me that they were lovers during their school days but have broken up long ago. I later realized that my wife was refusing to listen to me and even told me that she had lost interest in the marriage with whom I have four kids,” John Baah, the man whose wife the Pastor impregnated told Citi News.
