A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Henry K. Kokofu, has congratulated Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO on his nomination as the party’s running mate.
In a statement issued on Monday, July 1, 2024, available to Metro TV, Dr. Kokofu expressed his gratitude to the party faithful for their support and encouragement during the quest for the Running Mate nomination.
“The New Patriotic Party is the victor, and I have already congratulated Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) on his nomination. I pledge my unflinching support to him and the Flagbearer, and I urge all party members to rally behind them in unity,” Dr. Kokofu said.
He emphasized the need for reconciliation and energizing the party’s rank and file, saying “it is the only sure bet to clinch victory in the general elections come 2024.”
Dr. Kokofu, a former Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, urged party members to work together to achieve the Breaking-The-8 Agenda, saying “IT IS POSSIBLE!!!”
