The family of Lance Corporal Michael Danso, who was murdered at Millennium City in Kasoa, has appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to expedite investigations into his death.
Speaking at the burial service, Nana Abena Aboagye, a family member, expressed the family’s pain and hurt over the killing of their son by Benlord Ababio. She emphasized that justice for their loved one would serve as a deterrent to criminals in Ghana.
Nana Antwi Boasiako, Akyeanpim Hene of Kyebi in the Eastern Region, also urged the IGP to fast-track the investigation into the death of Lance Corporal Danso.
Meanwhile, Colonel DN Duodo, Director of Army Religious Affairs, cautioned military personnel to desist from engaging in activities that could put their lives in danger at the hands of citizens.
The funeral service was attended by family members, military personnel, and traditional leaders, who all paid their respects to the late Lance Corporal Danso.
