The Klo-Agogo Senior High Technical School in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, is in dire need of infrastructure upgrading, with goats competing with students for classrooms.
Established in 1991, the school has no permanent staff rooms, dining hall, assembly hall, ICT lab, or sufficient classrooms, affecting academic performance.
Headmaster David Teye-Bi-Teye Agualey appealed to the government to provide infrastructure, including a sickbay, classroom furniture, and completion of an abandoned two-story building project started in 2012.
The school has 925 students, 58 teaching staff, and 22 non-teaching staff, offering five courses.
The Asafoatse of the Atua Manya Division, Nene Odjeblema Angmortey, urged students to learn hard despite the challenges, while School Prefect Priscilla Keni Awatey called for government support.
