The Youth of British Komenda has announced a planned demonstration over the deplorable state of roads in the township.
The demonstration will create awareness about the deteriorating nature of Komenda junction to Komenda township road.
The youth have mortified the police of their intended demonstration scheduled for February 24, 2024.
The notification is pursuant to section 1 clause 1 of the public order act 1994 (act 491) which provides that “ anyone who desires to hold a special event within the meaning of this act in public place shall notify the police of his intentions not less than five (5) days before the date of the special event “.
The time of commencement is 7 am and the starting point shall be Komenda Lorry park, Komenda and will end at KEEA Municipal Assembly Elmina at 3:30 pm.
