An 18-year-old Senior High School student has been fatally stabbed by her boyfriend for cheating at Akyem Nsuta in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.
Abigail Asare an SHS 2 female student of Akyem Nsutam Senior High School was stabbed by her boyfriend, Osei Michael, who is a barber by profession in his salon during a violent altercation.
According to reports, Abigail had traveled to see her boyfriend during a brief school break.
The altercation allegedly started when Emeka, as the suspect is also known, accused Abigail of multiple dating.
He fled the scene after locking the girl who was seriously hurt up in his salon.
Her cries for assistance woke up onlookers, who dispatched the police to the scene.
The body of the victim was found in a pool of blood after they busted down the door.
The body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy by the Police and the victim’s relatives.
