Minority calls on government to address high cost of living

The Minority in Parliament has expressed concern over the rising cost of living in the country, which is having a devastating impact on the economy and the citizenry.

At a press conference in Accra, John Abdulai Jinapor, Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, noted that the cost of living continues to rise, eroding the salaries of workers.

He cited the recent increase in prices of petrol, LPG, diesel, cement, and other essential items as examples.

The Minority is calling on the government to provide a candid explanation for the state of affairs and to take urgent measures to address the situation.

They believe that this will give the next government a chance to salvage the country from the current economic woes.
