Minority MPs boycott Parliament in support of Ato Forson

The Minority Members of Parliament have abandoned parliamentary proceedings in solidarity with their leader, Ato Forson, who is standing trial in the ambulance procurement case.

The sudden absence of the Minority MPs from the Chamber has left the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, astonished.

According to him, the minority’s decision to boycott parliamentary proceedings is unprecedented and unfortunate.

Last week, the Minority Caucus announced its decision to boycott parliamentary proceedings until the trial of Ato Forson is over.

The Caucus believes the trial is a political witch hunt and has vowed to stand by their leader.
