In ten days, Assin North voters will go to the polls to choose a new Member of Parliament after a seven-member panel of the Supreme Court declared their December 2020 election and subsequent swearing-in of James Gyakye Quayson, the former Member of Parliament of Assin North as unconstitutional.
As a result, representatives from all the major political parties have flocked to the constituency to solicit support from the local populace.
The former president and the NDC candidate, Gyakye Quayson, showed courtesy to the Assin Breku Traditional Council before beginning their campaign for the by-election.
