The traditional rulers, including Navro Pio Denise Asakpaari Adda ll, Kolugo Naba Clifford Abagna Asobayire lll, Naaga Naba Bosingo Olando Awini lll, and Sandema Nab Azagsuk Azantilow ll, have pledged their support for the minister’s efforts, adopting him as a “son of the land.”

Dr. Salih, who took over from Stephen Yakubu, acknowledged the severity of the conflict’s impact on the region’s security and progress.

He expressed concern that if the conflict is not addressed, the region will continue to suffer. The minister plans to visit the Bawku Naba and his people soon to continue his efforts to restore peace to the area.

Previous measures to end the conflict have included a ban on motor riding, wearing of smock, and closure of radio stations.
