The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for South Tongu, Maxwell Lukutor, has pledged to secure 95% of votes for the party in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking during a health walk organized by the party in the constituency, Lukutor expressed his determination to work hard to achieve a strong victory for the NDC in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Gabby Alexander Hottordze, also present at the event, emphasized the party’s goal of claiming all seats in the region, including the Hohoe constituency currently held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Volta Regional Organizer for NDC, Siki Habib, highlighted the successful limited voter registration and vote transfer in the region, expressing confidence in winning all seats in the Volta Region.

The health walk, which brought together regional and constituency executives, party faithful, sympathizers, and friends of Mahama, covered a 15-kilometer distance from Adutor through the principal streets of the town, filled with drumming, dancing, and singing party songs in anticipation of victory in the upcoming elections.

The South Tongu Health Walk will be replicated across the entire constituency to bring party members together before the general election.
