Two off-duty police officers have been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Trassacco Valley, Accra, according to a police statement.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening at around 6:00 pm outside the officers’ private residence at Block Factory, East Trassacco.
The gunmen fled the scene on a motorbike, leaving behind no trace of motive or stolen items.
A police manhunt is currently underway, with an intelligence-led operation aimed at apprehending the suspects.
The Ghana Police Service has pledged to bring those responsible to justice.
