NPP stalwart and current Managing Director of the State Transport Corporation (STC), Nana Akomea has declared his stance for the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming NPP flagbearership contest.
Nana Akomea made this disclosure on Accra-based Peace FM’s Morning Show.
According to Nana Akomea, he has been on the campaign train of Dr. Bawumia for some time now.
Justifying his choice of Dr. Bawumia against the rest on the list, Dr. Akomea explained that the Vice President is the right man for the job. He was quick to add that he is willing and ready to work with anybody who emerges victorious but insisted that his preferred choice is Dr. Bawumia.
Reacting to the disclosure by Nana Akomea, veteran journalist and managing director of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior expressed utter shock over the choice of the former Communications Director of NPP.
Kwesi Pratt couldn’t believe how Nana Akomea ended up at the camp of the Vice President.
