A found lifeless body of an 18-year-old young woman allegedly raped and murdered at Anwiankwanta in the Ashanti Region has thrown the community into a state of shock and sadness.

According to the reports, the 18-year-old apprentice was allegedly picked up by men in a vehicle who offered to drop her off at her house.

The deceased reports say was raped and later murdered.

Following her failure to return home, some concerned community members began searching for her, and tragically, her lifeless body was discovered in an uncompleted building just a few meters from her residence.

Eyewitnesses say she was partially unclothed, leading to suspicions that she may have been sexually assaulted before her death.

After the police were notified, an investigation has been launched into the incident to uncover the circumstances leading to the death of the young woman.
