Ghana will play Namibia in a pre-AFCON friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, January 8, 2024, as part of the build-up to the biennial showpiece in Cote D’Ivoire.

Both Ghana and Namibia will use the game to prepare for Africa’s flagship tournament that kicks off on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Abidjan. Namibia, replacement for Botswana are expected to test the strength of Chris Hughton’s team ahead of the championship.

Ghana will face Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique in Group B, while, Namibia clash with Tunisia, Mali, and South Africa in Group E.

The international friendly game is scheduled for 8pm kick-off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, January 08, 2024.
