In a remarkable display of philanthropy, Believers Legacy Incorporated Has donated several items worth over 20,000 cedis to both the Mephibosheth Orphanage and Winneba Prisons.
The items donated include; air conditioners, rice, sugar, soap, beverages, soft drinks, oil, biscuits, toiletries, clothing amongst others.
The donation forms part of the church’s social responsibility to climax its conference on; Christian devotion. The gesture is also to alleviate the woes of the vulnerable in the society.
Presenting the items, Head Pastor Benjamin Ekow Ghartey of Believer’s Legacy Incorporated stated that, the donation was among a series of gestures made to the Service and the orphanage home.
He said, proper upbringing and development of prison officials remain a collective responsibility, hence the donation.
Beyond the material Donation, Pastor Benjamin prayed and encouraged the children to be of good behavior and also focus on the studies.
