The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary has been won by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who got a astounding 61.43% of the total valid votes cast.

His commanding victory solidifies his strong standing within the party and establishes him as one of the front-runners in the approaching general elections.

Dr. Bawumia got a astounding 118,210 votes out of the total valid votes cast, greatly surpassing the votes cast for his nearest competitors.
